Promotion
Turkey, which forms a bridge between Europe and Asia, has special maritime interests and benefits due to its important geopolitical position in the Black Sea, Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean. Maritime Business and Administration college was established on 29.05.2005 within the Zonguldak Karaelmas University. The College of Maritime Business and Administration was closed, and the Maritime Faculty was established. There are three departments in our faculty: Maritime Business Administration, Maritime Transportation Engineering and Marine Engineering. Currently, only the Maritime Business Administration department is active. Our faculty is located in Kepez District of Karadeniz Ereğli of Zonguldak province which is located in the Western Black Sea Region of Black Sea Region. Karadeniz Ereğli district is a laboratory for the application of the theoretical knowledge explained in the lectures. Lecturers are experts in their fields. In vocational courses, support is also received from experts working in the maritime sector. Our curriculum has been created within the framework of purpose and vision, and updates are made when necessary in accordance with today's conditions considering the course catalogs and contents of other schools operating in the same field in the United States, United Kingdom and Turkey. Our graduates are actively involved in the maritime sector and have employment opportunities at the international level. The main purpose of our department is to serve the maritime interests of our country by training people who will take charge in administrative and technical fields in the national and international maritime sector.
Education
Our faculty provides 4-year undergraduate education. there is also an optional English preparatory class application available. During eight semesters, students have to succeed in compulsory and elective courses of 240 ECTS, excluding the common compulsory courses specified in the curriculum. In addition to these courses, they must pass a 20-day internship course. As of 2021, we have a total of 701 students studying at the undergraduate level.
Name Change
With the law 6287 dated 30.3.2012, the name of "Zonguldak Karaelmas University" was changed to "Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University".
Our Vision/Mission
Bülent Ecevit University Maritime Faculty specializes in providing undergraduate education in the fields of logistics, transportation, business administration and training maritime operators, captains and officers to work in merchant fleets within the framework of Turkey's maritime interests. The main purpose is to equip our students with the skills of critical thinking, self-discipline, administration and leadership in the best way.

Our faculty consists of A, B, C Blocks. Our faculty have Dean's Room, Dean's secretary room, 2 Deputy Dean rooms, 6 Academic Staff rooms, Meeting Hall, Faculty Secretary room, Administrative Staff room, Conference Hall, Maritime Laboratory, Internet room, 6 classrooms, Student Clubs room, ship modeling workshop and a modern library.
